Help Please!

A couple weeks ago we had our family pictures taken. Which ones do you like? I need help deciding which to print for our frames. Input please! I have a favorite but I'd like to see what you think. Thanks Braeden and Katie, I love them! (P.S. these are the unedited versions, which I think are still amazing!)

Halloween

This year Halloween was so fun! I think it may have been the best yet. The kids are old enough to enjoy it and understand and Porter was able to walk, the whole time! I didn't pick him up once. It was awesome! I snapped this picture before we left, but then I forgot my camera at home. Oops! Gran, Jen, Oma, and Opa came with us. It was the perfect evening. It was a little chilly as it got later, but not bad at all. We went up and down our street and then snaked through all the little cul-de-sacs that are behind us. It took about an hour. The kids did great with all the scary yard decorations and costumes. Porter would look at something that was kind of scary and it would say "you're a nice..." or "it's not scary." I was so proud of him. There were only two or three doors that he was hesitant to go up to. And Brinnley and Ainsley were so good. They waited for him to catch up before they rang the door bell. Or if they got to the door with another group of kids, Brinn would make sure they knew her brother was coming. They were so cute!

The evening went so well and it was a huge success, until the last house. We were on our way home and there was one door that no one had been home at before. Brinn ran up to the door with a group of kids. The house is on the corner and the rest of us were still walking up the side of it. When the door opened someone growled/screamed. Then Brinnley screamed. She ran back to us saying, "Don't let Porter and Ainsley go up there!" Jen saw what was inside. Right in front of the door was a body and then when the person opened the door they held out a head that had "blood" on the neck. She said it looked real. No wonder Brinn was scared! We had been explaining that all the scary things weren't real, but how do you understand that when it does look real? She was crying and shaking. We hit one more house where a nice ladybug opened the door, wanting to end the night on a good note. (That night she came out of her room a couple different times saying when she closed her eyes all she could see was that head. A quick prayer and she was finally able to sleep. Poor thing was a little traumatized.)
Opa came all dressed from his school party. He looked great, so we had to take his picture!
The kids with their haul. They were pretty pleased!

Porter recruited Jen's help to sort it out and find the good stuff.

It was a fantastic day!

Halloween Parade

Friday, Oct 28th the school held a Halloween parade. All the kids got to wear their costumes and the parents were invited to watch as the children paraded through the school. It was so much fun to see all the creative costumes! I had a front row seat, so I had a great view. I was impressed with the teachers just as much as the kids. There was a "Where's Waldo," a very fancy fairy, and even a whoopy cushion. I had a cowgirl and dragon this year. Yep, Brinnley still fits into her cowgirl boots. And she had a snap-up shirt just like Grandpa. She was all set. Ainsley was so excited to be a dragon!

This was Brinnley parading by me. She took of her hat and said, "Howdy, Mom!" So cute!
This is Ms. Schmidt, Brinn's Kindergarten teacher. We just love her!
And Ainsley's teacher, Mrs. Zealley, was Little Bo Peep.
I was able to help out in Ainsley's class for their party. I was in charge of the Bingo table. The kids are so cute and I am really glad I was able to go and meet them.
This is Ainsley and her best friend Breckyn, the little devil ;) not really, she's sweet.

The next day we carved the pumpkins that the kids had drawn earlier. The girls had a lot of fun digging out the guts. Good times!
